We currently have a vacancy within our Application Specialist team for a Field Application Specialist. This role will cover South East.

Reporting to the manager of the Application Specialist team the main functions of the role and responsibilities are:

Provide on-site training for customers within the designated area and across other territories as required. Participate in training for customers or members of staff.

Provide technical support for pre-sales activities, such as on-site product presentations and demonstrations, participate at exhibitions and provide support to sales and marketing.

Liaise with LIMS providers and work with their personnel as well as customer IT personnel to establish interface and network connections between bioMérieux systems and LIMS systems.

Qualifications The candidate should be confident, adaptable, self-motivated, analytical, and able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, with excellent communication and administration skills.

- Educated to degree level in life science subjects.- Good core knowledge of current bacteriology and virology methods and techniques- Good time management skills
