It won't always be easy, but it's always exciting and it promises great opportunities for you, and our business, especially if you're ready to stand for something.The Engineering Partner Manager will be accountable forThe management of Engineering suppliers ensuring the delivery of balanced scorecard of cost, quality and service: Building and managing an Engineering supplier Provision scorecard to demonstrate delivery and progress.Provide and respond to performance insight. Look for opportunities to improve performance and product performance by continuous review in collaboration with Qube and OpenreachInstigate, manage and deliver against Joint Service Improvements plans recruiting a matrix team to deliver objectivesAgree governance structure to increase collaboration & performance improvement. Lead on ensuring TalkTalk exceeds performance of other CPs in key metrics to deliver better costs base and service for our customers (best in class data sets from Openreach)Sets a clear set of joint priorities with key partners to improve customer experience and engineer effectiveness.Instigating and leading change with our suppliers to support our cost and service goals:Ensure TalkTalk consume Openreach developments that benefits our business, both system and process changes Ensure all Openreach trials are appropriately assessed and if appropriate ensure TalkTalk active participation. Leading on regular progress reviews and analytical assessmentUndertake root cause analysis to identify opportunities with OpenreachLead on defining TTG's change requirements of Openreach in terms of SOR submissions for Service Improvements or cost reduction.Creating customer improvement projects supporting TalkTalk's ambition to become the most recommended telco in the UK. Programme manage the projects.Cost Control / opportunityManaging the Qube & Openreach engineer budget and controlling the cost to serve by ensuring we maximise the use of Qube & Openreach at the right timeEnsure our invoices are validated, align with our expectations and opportunities for reductions realised through the cost optimisation functionSpecific management of all associated elements of the Qube and Openreach contractual SLA's and SLG's including but not limited to ensuring they are relevant, measured, managed and proactively credited when levels not achieved Work with Cost Optimisation Manager to validate the Openreach invoice, raising areas of dispute where appropriate.ComplianceEnsure that the area of control remains compliant with any auditory requirements and where appropriate act as an approver for reports, documents and processesIndustry EngagementBuild a strong relationship with Ofcom and OTAAttend relevant Industry service forums to drive voice of TalkTalk in all Openreach decision makingProvide Consumer Team with comprehensive updates of industry events, agreements and opportunities.Demonstrate collaboration is having collective positive impact on our customer experience journeys.Ensure that the area of control remains compliant with any auditory requirements and where appropriate act as an approver for reports, documents and processesResponsible for championing TT at an industry level to ensure that priority is given to items that we sponsorThe individual in this role has:You will have excellent verbal and written communication skill with the ability to explain the complex simplyAble to maintain a positive and professional relationship with internal employees and third parties, ensuring that everybody is working together to resolve issues. Have good negotiation skills and be able to recognise the challenges faced by others when working to resolve issues. Have excellent data and analytical skills to identify and assess opportunities. Commercially adept in understanding cost and basic management accounting, able to identify opportunities for reducing cost.Be able to present data in user friendly fashion to convey essential messages.Every Customer matters to us, the person in this role has a relentless focus on improving the customer experience.
