An innovative Event Planner is needed to join one of the UK's best-known events venues based near London City Airport. Joining an established team and working closely with the Media and Graphics Manager, expect to play a pivotal role in planning and managing the production and installation of the media and graphics aspects of events held at this landmark venue.

Hosting over 400 events a year and welcoming over 4 million visitors, from every corner of the globe, this leading venue boasts fully flexible event halls, conference & exhibition space, a multitude of meeting rooms and the UK's largest flexible auditorium. Communications is at the forefront of their vision to be the home of world leading events, delivering great guest experiences for everyone who visits the venue. The role of Event Planner will be integral to ensuring guest relationships are flawlessly managed.

The successful Event Planner will be an essential part of the vibrant and dynamic team that make this the most successful events venue in the capital. The key responsibility for the Event Planner will be to act as a central contact person for the media and graphics requirements of event clients. Whether you are planning and project managing the media and graphics production and installation process for events, managing the clients expectations, managing relationships with suppliers and all orders related to events, ensuring all work is performed to best practice or managing budgets and delivering accurate cost reporting on a regular basis, it will be your exemplary people skills and the ability to communicate effectively that will be an important part of making this venue's events a success.

To qualify. You should be an Events Planner / Events Manager / Events Executive / Assistant Event Manager / Marketing Executive / Project Manager / Exhibition Marketing Manager / Venue Specialist or similar we don`t mind, you just need to have a CV that can demonstrate:

  • Proven track record of successfully planning large scale events;
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, prioritising workloads and working under time pressures;
  • A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Power Point;
  • Demonstrate a history of meeting targets and KPI's;
  • Exceptional customer service;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills;
  • Be willing to be a team player and share success.
