£40,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced individual to take on the role as a Software Licensing Manager for our higher education client based in Durham, This role is broad and offers a great opportunity to be integral to a really exciting programme of work.

Core Responsibilities;
*Provide expert professional expertise and problem-solving skills in Service Asset Management.
*Recognised professional practitioner in Service Asset Management, managing the full software lifecycle through a variety of channels including external vendor portals.
*Responsible for operational activity across Service Asset and Configuration Management.
*Significant input into the scoping and resource planning for Service Asset & Configuration Management across a range of activities at operational and possibly strategic level.
*Carry out project scoping, initiation, planning and implementation for University wide Service Asset & Configuration Management initiatives.
*Responsible for shaping the development and learning of others outside of team, through the design and delivery of training sessions for Service Asset Management.
*Lead on the design, implementation and monitoring of policy and quality standards, procedures and systems ensuring effective working and continuous improvement of Service Asset Management. Experience required
*Professional practitioner in Service Asset Management with specialist knowledge and expertise used to influence events and activities within the organisation.
*Knowledge and experience of ensuring licence compliance with regulatory and organisational policy and guidelines.
*Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance on a broad variety of software and licensing models, to a range of customers and colleagues, including more senior colleagues.
*Experience of being able to network effectively and develop strong and productive working relationships, to influence perceptions of the University.
*Experience of having operational responsibility for budgets, working within agreed principles and tolerances.
*Previous experience of managing supplier contracts.
