£24,000 split into basic of £19,200 plus variable bonus of £4,800 - OTE in 1st year circa £28-29K

As a Business Development Executive, you will be working with the Director to create, build and nurture prospective customers. Do you enjoy cold calling but are you looking to work in a role with greater prospects in sales within 3-6 months? We are working with an established company who are looking for an ambitious sales person who enjoys B2B sales along with attending events and supporting the company with email marketing. All you need is some telemarketing experience and an attitude to succeed, training will be provided for the other areas. You will have the opportunity to attend meetings with the Director, along with excellent career progression.

Business Development Executive role: You will be responsible for driving new business, contacting businesses over the phone and via social media. Other duties will include attending events and exhibitions, researching and gaining leads, as well as creating email marketing campaigns and writing content for social media.

Working hours: 8.30am-5.30pm Monday-Friday

Parking on site

Duties will include:
  • Calling businesses to generate new business and closing for an appointment - all leads will be given
  • Qualifying an scheduling appointments for the Director
  • Conducting sales follow-up calls and emails
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Liaising with the technical and project teams to ensure handover of new customers and projects
  • Attending industry events and exhibitions
  • Attending meetings with the Director
  • Understand competitor activity and create reports for the Director
  • Drafting and sending quotes
  • Creating email marketing campaigns to target new business

Candidate Requirements:
  • Ideally a minimum of 6 months telesales or telemarketing experience
  • Ability to build rapport with potential clients over the phone
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Engaging and ambitious personality
  • Strong work ethic, proactive and independent worker
  • Enjoys working to sales targets
