Database Assistant

Your new company
You will be working for a large manufacturing business within the Chesterfield area.

Your new roleYou will be required to:
* Execute changes to EBS (Oracle) master data (e.g. item, customer, supplier, etc.) as approved by the business.
* Coordinate material and finish products master data setup, validations and periodic maintenance
* Providing reports regarding the quality of master data
* Collaborate with Business across the Europe on how data and reporting needs can be used to improve business activities and decisions.
* Collaborate with the central master data team in the USA
* Work with Business units and process experts to resolve master data issues.
* Perform mass updates as required.
* Ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of master data across business systems.

What you'll need to succeed
* Experience managing master data (Item, Customer, Supplier, etc.) required
* Previous master data management experience (Oracle and Agile system) is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-motivated, ability to work independently with minimal supervision and instruction.
* Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint and especially Excel (skills - Formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, VBA etc.)
* Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
