Serving the local areas of Lees and Spring Hill in Oldham, there are currently over 1400 students currently on roll at our client school. The school serves a diverse catchment area with students of white-British heritage and minority ethnic backgrounds being of a roughly equal number, with more than average speaking English as an Additional Language. The school was opened in 2010 when it's two predecessors opted to merge and pool resources to ensure that all students from the local community could access state of the art provisions. Since the appointment of the new Head, there have been a number of targeted changes across the curriculum and improvements in standards of teaching and learning has paid dividends in raises in attainment across all subjects with the school exceeding the governments floor standards for progress and attainment.

"We are looking to appoint a Design and Technology teacher on a full time basis from September, initially via supply for the first term, with the likelihood that this will result in a permanent contract with ourselves. We would like the incoming teacher to be confident with RM and Product Design at GCSE and anyone with experience in Graphics and/or 3D Art would be desirable. We do have expectancies for incoming staff to contribute with the planning, marking and assessment of schemes of work throughout" - Curriculum Lead, Technology
