The Company: I am currently working on behalf of a rapidly expanding IFA firm based in the Chesterfield area who are looking to add an FS industry experienced IFA Administrator to their admin support team. You will be joining a progressive, forward thinking business who are looking to grow across 2019 and become a leading IFA offering to the South Yorkshire/North Midlands region, with training, development and study support available for people looking to press on with a career in a growing financial planning firm.

The Role: The remit here is a very broad admin support role to a team of Yorkshire based financial advisers, covering everything from business processing to obtaining quotations and dealing with product providers. Full duties and responsibilities are outlined below:
  • To provide efficient administrative support to multiple IFA's
  • Preparation of correspondence including letters and emails
  • To be a point of contact for clients, life offices and members of the business
  • Maintenance of all administration systems, ensuring all client data is accurate and up to date
  • Maintenance of diary management system, ensuring daily workflow is completed in line with agreed SLA's
  • Assist with the management of the IFA's portfolio of existing business
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is scanned and attached to the relevant client records
  • Prepare new business and review packs for IFA client meetings
  • Obtain research when requested for protection and annuity products
  • Provide mortgage research for IFA's using online systems
  • Obtain illustrations for products from providers either on-line or over the telephone
  • Undertake filing, photocopying and scanning duties when required
  • Deal with fund switches and surrenders using SLA's and compliance guidelines
  • Obtain valuations/details on existing policies, ensuring administration system is updated accurately

The Person: The successful candidate will come with experience of providing administrative support to IFA's/wealth managers, and have basic product knowledge across investments, pensions and protection/life cover, with any tax or trust exposure a significant bonus.
