Audit Senior

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior to join an award-winning accountancy firm based local to Norwich, Norfolk. You will be working in the Corporate and Commercial division and you will be responsible for the full audit plan and ensuring that it appropriately addresses audit objectives. The role will require you to work Monday to Friday, 8.45am-5.15pm, however these hours can be flexible for the right candidate.

Duties of the Audit Senior:

• You will be responsible for taking an active approach to the audit planning and fraud discussion
• Making sure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
• Working closely with the manager/partner and communicating any issues or concerns relating to audit
• Preparing and reviewing audit documentation and drafts of the financial statements
• You will be leading site audit teams and providing a hands-on compliance role
• You will be in control of the audit in relation to timescales, budgets and risk management procedures

Experience required for the Audit Senior:

• You will hold an ACA or ACCA qualification
• Experience of working with an external client base
• You must be proficient using all Microsoft applications and computerised audit packages
• You must be a confident communicator and have experience coaching/mentoring colleagues
• You must be proactive and be able to use your own initiative
• You must be a strong multitasker who can work to ever-changing deadlines
• Please note this role is based local to Norwich, Norfolk
