Vanta Staffing are excited to be working with a vibrant, fun and progressive entertainment and games software company. We are seeking a Brand Manager to oversee planning and execution of their product launches in Germany. The Brand Manager will have experience in marketing high-profile, multiplatform games, and product marketing experience in a customer-focus entertainment or games software company. The position is based in Uxbridge, Middlesex and hours of work are Monday - Thursday 9am -6pm and Friday 9am - 1pm.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in Business or Marketing and have 3+ years of direct experience in digital and/or online product/brand marketing. Previous experience with a leading video game/entertainment-oriented company is essential and a good knowledge of current trends would be an advantage. You will also be a keen gamer and appreciate the gaming culture.

You will have knowledge of the German language and excellent verbal & written communication skills in English, provide evidence of the ability to persuade, influence and negotiate. You will be experienced in writing effective briefs including ability to probe and challenge. The successful candidate will have experience of writing and delivering effective presentations.

Reporting to the EU Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager's responsibilities are split into 3 key areas (Brand Marketing, PR and Community Management) focusing solely on the brand.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Work with the EU Marketing Manager by being the local market expert to successfully aid in business planning to develop an EU marketing strategy which deliver improved brand awareness, increased player acquisition, increased game downloads and positive product sales trends
  • Develop and manage best in class social marketing campaigns for assigned market to meet short and long-term business objectives
  • Work with EU Marketing Manager and EU Digital Media Manager to help adapt local marketing plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions
  • Proactively investigate and advise on offline marketing opportunities to drive business growth within local market and thought starters on how it could work as a regional execution
  • Proactively source and find local influencers, negotiate budgets within approved thresholds, and create a content plan related to each key product release for user-generated content.
  • Proactively work in collaboration with Influencer Marketing agency to select appropriate influencers across EU and locally amplify content to complement the overall marketing plans
  • Manage day-to-day local media relations, along with the development and execution of tactical PR plans in collaboration with the EU PR agency
  • Solicit, track, and report regularly on community sentiment and discussion, and coordinate with management and internal teams to implement action plans
  • Monitor all local marketing campaigns, analyze performance and advise on optimization
  • Act as the brand guardian in the local market
  • Deliver presentations and updates to internal stakeholders and the EU senior leadership team.

Please note, whilst this role looks after the German market, the role is based in Uxbridge.
