Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer

Are you an eager to learn, hungry Mechanical Engineering graduate looking to progress your career as a Mechanical Design Engineer? Did you have familiarity using Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks? If so, we are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Graduate to take on a Mechanical Design Engineer position on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of standard and bespoke mechanical equipment for a variety of different industries (Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical etc.) to take on a challenging, varied role within a small close knit team.

Essential Requirements / Experience:

·This person must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree and achieved a 2:1+

·We are looking for someone who has exposure to either Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks

·The successful candidate will have solid core design skills that is happy to take on a varied role

·We are looking for a real people's person that is keen to learn and able to fit into a small close knit team

·Competitive annual salary £22,000 - £26,000 per annum (Flexible dependent on experience level)

Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer
The Role

·As a Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer there would be a significant amount of on the job training provided

·Once fully trained you be responsible for the design of standard and bespoke mechanical equipment and pressure vessels using Inventor (Training provided)

·This going to be varied role where you are not restricted and given free reign, ultimately looking for someone to working in a small team of 3 and take on a lot of responsibility:

·Pressure vessel / pressure equipment design, supporting on the shop floor, liaising with all departments

·Generating design calculations, FEA to provide engineering solutions for customers (This experience isn't essential)

·Creating Bills of Material (BOM's) & Part lists, carrying out all engineering work to meet order requirements
