Our client: a gourmet FMCG business
The role: Quality and Compliance Manager
The function of Quality and Compliance Manager is to assure all aspects of Food Safety conformities are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, update and maintain the Quality Management Standard and ensure compliance on all aspects is adequate
• Review HACCP systems, update and maintain, validate and verify its compliance, document all reviews
• Maintain databases of Quality Assurance and its documentation, version control, history of amendments and reasons, annual reviews
• Investigate any customer complaints, seek tangible resolution and report back to customer with comprehensive investigation reports
• Monitor complaints, provide trend analysis and follow up with suppliers/factory on repeated complaints
• Maintain supplier database and its documentation based on schedules
• Lead all customer audits, prepare any records/documentations required and tend to customers whilst on site
• Create and maintain finished product and component specifications for all products made by the company including packaging
• Review and update regularly Quality Systems such as Quality Standard, Operational Standard and SOPs
• Formalised Crisis management procedure, team and media handling to all staff
• Train all staff in Food Safety awareness, Standard operations procedures, Product withdraw/recall & Crisis Management understanding
