This is a unique and fantastic full-time opportunity for an Insurance professional to progress their career with a market leading, fast-paced world class business.

Key deliverables entail providing an expert global claims handling service provision to the DPDHL business thus supporting the company's significant growth forecast, whilst proactively pursuing economic, early resolution of customer claims in order to improve customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Adopt DPDHL culture of professionalism, integrity, effectiveness, and dynamic attitude by contributing to an internal environment of collaborative claims handling teamwork and promote a positive IRM service provision.
  • Proactively pursue economic, early resolution for all claim recoveries, insured and uninsured adopting a collaborative approach to addressing a wide variety of claims administration requirements, providing workable solutions to senior management, whilst overseeing the successful implementation of claim recovery initiatives.
  • Navigate, network and establish cross border relationships to leverage best practices and execute program-wide recovery strategies through internal claims management communities.
  • Challenge current work procedures and recommend process improvement or development.
  • Build co-operative relationships between IRM team and stakeholders within the Claims recovery process.
  • Work with the relevant IRM team to create standard reports and processes for monitoring and benchmarking claim recovery activity and present to senior management.
  • Participate in claims management meetings and align with other IRM business areas in support of mutual goals.
  • Manage processes and claim recovery information exchange between business units & IRM, including business account managers and other key process stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years experience operating within a high volume end to end claims recovery environment
  • Used to working with external professionals ( Insurers, Loss Adjusters, Lawyers)
  • Familiar with articulating complex recovery concepts / terminology to business partners
  • Proven track record of supporting the implementation of claims risk measurement tools, KPI's and metrics
  • Proficient in time-management, self-discipline and controlling interruptions by moulding behaviour of others who have varying priorities
  • Project oriented and able to meet short and medium term priorities
  • Excellent knowledge of Power Point and Outlook
  • Fluent in English essential, plus other language skills would be helpful.
  • Resides within daily commuting distance of Martlesham, Ipswich, or willing to relocate
