Are you interested in working as a Mortgage Administrator for a family run mortgage brokerage, who pride themselves on their excellent client service?

The Company

This family run, financial services firm has been established for over 25 years and now has a strong brand for their professional advice on Mortgages, Protection, Investments and Pensions. They are recruiting for a Mortgage Administrator within the Leicestershire area to further develop their successful team.

Roles and responsibilities

As part of your role as a Mortgage Administrator, you will be working closely with your colleagues in the support team to assist the Principal Adviser who regularly writes a high level of business every month. Your duties play a pivotal role in maintaining and managing their client accounts; therefore, tasks will include:
  • Prepare meeting packs with the proposed agenda and objectives of the meeting
  • Action any necessary tasks following the meeting including the processing of mortgages, protection or GI cases
  • Provide ongoing support for maintaining systems are updated.
  • Assist with client relationship management and liaise directly with them when required.
  • Offer support to team members when required
  • Undertake general office duties (filing, scanning, answering the telephones, sorting post etc)

Training and Development

Excellent training will be provided to ensure you are effective and efficient in your role. Proven training model in place to take inexperienced individuals through to being highly confident in their role as a Mortgage Administrator.

Requirements to be considered

Ideally you should have experience of working with clients, willing to learn and motivation to go above and beyond. In addition, you should be eloquent in written and verbal communication. Plus, you should have good time management skills, be able to manage your own workload and prioritise tasks to ensure they are completed in a compliant manner.

  • Salary of £16,000 - £21,000 pa dependent on experience plus company pension scheme
