One of our most prominent clients are recruiting a Finance team coordinator to help support project work over the next 5 months.

This position will be highly rewarding and an integral part of the wider finance team that will require candidates to be immediately available and have no holiday between September and October.

Client Details

Our client is a well established yet fast growing business on the outskirts of Bristol in the medical and nursing sector. Parking permits will be issued for close parking.

The offices are newly refurbished and have a friendly working working environment, with permanent opportunities within the business after the temporary contract.

Description

The Finance Team Coordinator will be heavily involved in project work, a list of responsibilities will include:
  • Communicating with subsidiary businesses ensuring they are ready and prepared for upcoming projects
  • Creating and preparing a large amount of spreadsheets on Excel
  • Liaising with suppliers to request any updated information
  • Reconciling opening and closing stock balances
  • Reviewing the work done by the junior finance clerks
  • Providing adequate training and support for junior staff
  • Preparing stock movement journals

Profile

The successful finance team coordinator will be able to demonstrate the following skill sets and behaviours:
  • Very Strong IT skills, including Excel (pivot tables and Vlookups)
  • Team leadership abilities - confident in leading a team and prioritising tasks and workloads accordingly
  • Excellent communicator both verbally and written with all levels of staff
  • Previous transactional finance experience would be preferred
  • Spot on accuracy and strong attention to detail is required at all times
  • Very confident in meeting deadlines and working under pressure
  • Confident in working alone and reporting work/information to senior management

Job Offer

On offer is a temporary contract until mid November within a growing organisation for a competitive rate of pay. There may also be internal opportunities to apply for throughout the contract.
