To ensure the company is compliant with H&S regulations and to assist the Head of Office Services with the UK facilities and property strategies.

Key responsibilities
  • Promote commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental practice throughout the UK business through training and tool box talks working with the HOS and CL&D
  • Ensure compliance by 3rd parties through a strong control of the contractor permissions process
  • Ensure UK offices are compliant with number of H&S reps, First aiders and Fire Marshalls and planned training as required.
  • Arrange quarterly update meetings with H&S reps, First aiders and Fire Marshall
  • Undertake DSE and Expectant Mother Assessments as and when required
  • Conduct any investigations of EHS incidents and accidents, subsequent reporting and implementation of any resultant actions.
  • Co-ordinate day-to-day environmental, health and safety issues raised by members of staff and ensure tasks completed by H&S Administrator within departmental SLA
  • Ensure all records and paperwork are kept up to date for H&S.
  • Management of policy hub to ensure up to date and DSE 's rolled out and manage the end to end process.
  • Assist the HOS with highlighting and implementation of Wellbeing initiative
  • Assist the HOS with the Group ESG initiative
  • Ensure all risks, controls and processes are reviewed and updated where appropriate
  • Production of monthly reporting of H&S matters and trends
  • Be the Deputy Fire Marshall
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role

Functional expertise/main job related skills
  • Maths & English GCSE A-C or equivalent or qualified by experience
  • IOSH/NEEBOSH qualification
  • Excellent knowledge/application of Microsoft Office
  • Project management skills

Required experience
  • Previous experience of H&S and Facilities
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations & law essential
  • H&S Management inc undertaking DSE's & investigations
  • Experience of working in an team environment in an administration role
