Accountant Assistant

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a renowned organisation in the distribution industry who are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant.

Primary responsibilities include:

- Checking sales invoices for accuracy (in excel) and entering them onto Sage line 50.

- Reconciliation of payments against invoices, allocating onto Sage,

- Producing and sending out statements

- Inputting purchase invoices onto Sage, reconciliations of supplier's statements and payments.

- Making bank payments, bank reconciliations

- Reconciling staff expenses and credit card expenses,

- Managing payroll using Sage payroll

- Other ad-hoc duties

The suitable candidate must:

· Have proven sales and purchase ledger experience

· Have proven payroll experience

· Be organised, attention to detail and good time management skills.

· Strong IT skills and experience using Sage would be preferred
