M3 Finance Systems Business Analyst - M3 Finance

We are currently working with a Tier 1 Global brand who are looking for an experienced M3 Finance Business Analyst. Being a highly specified arena of expertise we are looking for a qualified accountant who has a strong working connection with the M3 ERP package with specific knowledge of the Finance module.

Purpose of Role
  • To provide Finance Business Systems support for all legal entities
  • Working cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and streamline processes by defining, documenting, analysing and supporting the application of business process improvement within the clients portfolio

Principal Responsibilities
  • Strive for the optimal use of M3 Business System
  • Identify and challenge business process improvement requests and initiatives and translate them into system solutions to achieve maximum benefit
  • Availability of appropriate guidance and training in use of IT finance applications
  • Ensure systems and processes adherence to fiscal and legal compliance
  • Ensure systems and processes meet the clients governance requirements
  • Analyse procedural failures and problems within the business, determine the cause and provide solutions or workarounds
  • Accountable for the Segregation of Duties of M3 Finance users. Provide knowledge and guidance to support change and business validation of new and existing mitigating controls

Knowledge and Experience
  • Recognised Finance/Business qualification
  • Software development lifecycle, especially requirements, testing and benefits realisation
  • Experience of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and change management skills. Able to apply lateral thinking and problem-solving techniques to overcome issues and identify opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written documentation.
  • Able to work independently as well as be a team player and to manage own workload
  • Commercial awareness with appreciation of other functional disciplines
