Our client, a fast-growing Alternative Finance provider seeks an ambitious, enthusiastic and charismatic young professional to join their team in Birmingham as a Channel Support Manager.

You will be responsible for providing day to day support to a small team of Relationship Managers and Business development managers. Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients with finance facilities, conducting periodic reviews, analysing management information and helping to maintain client operating conditions.

Candidates should be motivated by numbers, targets and KPIs, have a methodical approach with attention to detail, strong customer service ethic and is a self-motivated, team player willing to help others to achieve.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Create and update records within the CRM accurately to ensure accuracy of data and reporting throughout all channels.
  • Manage the day-to-day working with our internal and external origination partners; sales development team, finance brokers and business introducers.
  • Ensure credit applications are pre-screened, conducting stage 1 risk assessment and ensuring necessary documentation is accurately presented in readiness for effective and efficient underwriting.
  • Filtering applications to ensure we work adequately packaged submissions containing the minimum information.
  • Maintain regular communication with our partners ensuring excellent customer service by providing timely and frequent updates for ongoing credit applications.
  • Attend partner meetings, tradeshows, networking events or similar as and when required to support our partnerships business.
  • Handle all inbound calls from our channel partner being the 1st line telephone support function, responding any general queries around a case, products, processes, pricing or general training needs.
  • Work very closely with our Business Development and Underwriting teams based remotely to ensure a seamless flow of communication and business to our partners and end customers.

Finance industry, specifically Invoice Finance experience is highly advantageous and preferable, including a detailed understanding of financial accounting, business finance and risk management.
