Due to expansion, the Gi Group Sheffield is recruiting for an experienced Sterilization/Clean Room Operative on behalf of our Client based in the Sheffield.

Gi Group provides recruitment, staffing and workforce management services to local and national clients of all sizes, placing an average of 12,000 temporary and permanent staff into work nationwide each week across all market sectors.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday (08:00 to 17:30).

Hourly Rate:
The Hourly Rate on offer is £8.33

Essential Skills Required:

- Previous experience working within a clean room environment.
- Display a proven ability to meet targets and KPI's.
- Professional attitude for work.
- Self-Motivated.
- Have a great eye for detail.
- Professional and excellent communicator.
- Effective time management and prioritization.
- Proactive, organised and methodical.
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly, both written and verbally to customers.


- Stack and pile contracted goods into containers for washing or clean room packing.
- Prepare goods for shipment.
- Pack them following a specific set of instructions, BOM(bill of material)
- Clean and prepare product for packing.
- Check to ensure products are damage free.
- Verify if items sent in by customer are correct.
- Fill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product count.
- Keep track of inventory.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials, and notify the appropriate department.
- Seal and label each container.
- Move completed packages for shipment to the relevant department.
- Load or stuff different products or merchandise.
- Count items.
- Review packing lists and timings to pack items.
- Mark and label containers.
- Ensure clean room entry and exit procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Ensure that all labels that are produced are correct and checked off by the relevant people.
- Communicate with the relevant departments.
- Ensure all customer requirements are met in the most efficient way of working.
- To try and minimize handing of product were necessary, to reduce risk of contamination.
- To follow all PPE procedure and safety requirements.
- To try and drive continuous improvement on ways of working.
