Reed Accountancy Brighton are constantly on the look out for immediately available accounts professionals for ongoing temporary work in central Lewes. This would be a full time position, providing administrative support for transactional processes. You will be providing support in respect of either AP and AR, together with core accountabilities including Credit Control, Journal Entries and Debtor/ Creditor Reconciliations.

Duties to include, but are not limited to:

- Reconciliation of AP and AR accounts

- Reconcile supplier statements

- Proactively chase for prompt settlement of AR invoices

- Provide customer service - respond to queries/ first point of contact for basic advice and adhoc queries

- Set up and maintain cost centres

- Raise AR invoices

- Checking accuracy details on all invoices, query discrepancies, chase/check authority to pay.

Person specification:

- Use of initiative

- Self-starter

- Finance experience is desirable but not essential
