Part time - 30 hours per week to include regular Saturdays

Salary - £17,125 per annum.(pro rata)

With a varied and ever changing stock profile, you can enjoy the hands-on involvement of sorting, processing, displaying and selling donated items alongside our own range of Rainbows merchandise. You will take responsibility for the management of the shop, coming up with ideas for generating donated goods and increasing income. You will present a professional face of the charity on the high street, lead and develop a team of volunteers and use your initiative to maximise the income of the shop. This role is perfect for someone looking to use their drive, passion for retail, initiative and management skills to raise vital funds for the East Midlands only hospice for Children and Young People

Alongside a friendly and supportive place to work, Rainbows will offer you excellent professional training to ensure you achieve your potential within a successful and busy shop at the heart of Beeston. To be successful in this exciting and varied role you will have retail experience, preferably at a supervisory or management level. You will have the relevant skills to exceed customer and donor expectations, and the drive to influence the continued success of this shop.

Driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as you will be asked to provide cover at other stores across the region,(travel expenses would be reimbursed when working at other shops).

Rainbows is a local East Midlands charity dedicated to providing family support and direct care for Children & Young People who have life-threatening and life-limiting conditions. Every year we need to raise funds to ensure we continue to make a difference and our retail shops are an important part of this.
