Job Description: Internal Account Manager & System Support Analyst


Overview: Due to further expansion of our business, we are looking for someone to join our growing Data Team. Working within a busy team handling matters of team organisation, stakeholder management and support of our booking systems and web sites. This is an opening for an individual who's organised, diligent, has great communication skills and a positive attitude to work alongside the wider team.

You will be trained on the job, but the ideal candidate will be a competent writer and be comfortable creating and editing documents that clients and team members will use as the main guide for a project and its requirements. You would be naturally good on the phone with clients and dealing with tricky situations.

Experience of working with web systems and websites is a bonus.

The role includes supporting a wide range of internal company users (based both in the office and in/out international offices) for a variety of web sites and booking systems. This could mean providing ad-hoc phone or email support and training, through to writing proactive guides to help users in their day-to-day duties. There will also be an element of supporting your manager in meetings and helping organise team diaries.

General duties would include:

· Learning complex systems - how they work, how you use them and what the various parts of the systems require to be used in the correct manner

· Dealing with support requests - listening to issues and gathering enough information to sufficiently investigate reported issues

· Provide support and training to the wider business on system usage

· Collate bug reports and send them to the relevant teams to be processed

· Organisation of tasks across multiple team members

· Attending meetings, taking notes and writing them up

· Support with testing systems to make sure they meet the specifications

In all of these areas, positivity, organisation, communication skills and a keen attention to detail are key. You will be required to work within a team environment, but also have the ability to work on your own initiative. You should have good interpersonal communication skills and should have the ability to work under pressure and manage your own priorities. You will report directly to the Database Systems Manager and ultimately to the Head of IT who oversees the department.

Candidate requirements

· Advanced computer user (Outlook, Word, Excel, Web sites/systems)

· High level of organisation

· Diligent note keeping

· Ability deal with pressure situations

· A very keen eye for detail

· Experience working in the travel industry in a similar role would also be an advantage

Working Hours

08:30 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 17:30 (Depending on work load)
