The role

Finance Assistant

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing sales invoices on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Reviewing aged debt report on a weekly basis and chase debt where necessary.
  • Dealing with any queries arising from billing.
  • Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Providing variance analysis on costs, as and when required.
  • Assisting in producing balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Refreshing various month end reports.
  • Preparing the cost centre's monthly reconciliations.
  • Processing the intercompany invoices and update relevant tracker.
  • Updating the various trackers on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Uploading the budgets onto Coda.
  • Updating the monthly staff cost models.
  • Ensuring key vendors are paid on time.
  • Providing support to the operations admin team.
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks and projects.

The requirements

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:


  • Previous working experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using IT, with an intermediate level in Excel.
  • Familiarity or exposure in using CODA software.not essential
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Being a good team player.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with non-finance people in the organisation.

Qualifications

  • A degree qualification in finance or accountancy.is preferred
