About the Overall Objective:
  • The main objective of this position is to execute content marketing communications and generate leads for the sales team through digital marketing activities and events.

About the Responsibilities:
  • Content marketing: Help to develop and promote a rich content plan that attracts a qualified audience. Content includes blogs, white papers, ebooks, reports, webinars, infographics
  • Event marketing: plan and execute face to face events as well as online events
  • Digital marketing: work alongside the central marketing team - including specialists such as PPC and SEO specialists that support all divisions
  • Email marketing: Plan multi-touch email acquisition and nurturing programs with compelling calls-to-action and execute via central digital marketing team
  • Outbound marketing and contact/database: Collaborate with the business development and inside sales teams to check targets and improve performance
  • Reporting: Daily monitoring of key performance indicators taking corrective action and making start doing/stop doing decisions accordingly

About the Requirements:

This role could suit a bright and up and coming marketing graduate with an outstanding drive and determination for results. Personality is paramount for this position, see below 'person' requirements. This would also suit an experienced Marketing Executive or Digital Executive looking for an excellent company with flexibility.
  • Content marketing understanding/appreciation and
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • B2B marketing or communications experience
  • Email marketing experience; any email platform knowledge (ideally Marketo) with an understanding of sales funnels, customer journey, nurturing emails.
  • Ideally marketing/business degree or CIM (or working towards) but strong experience will also be welcomed
  • Experienced in Excel
  • Events Management experience not needed, but good project management or organisational skills will suffice

About the Package:
  • £25,000 - £35,000
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata'd for the contract)
