Sheridan Maine are recruiting an Assistant Accountant in a UK leading manufacturing company, based in the Halesowen area. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of great team on a permanent basis.

Our Client:

Our client is a manufacturing company who have been established for over 30 years in the industry. They are seeking an Assistant Accountant in the Halesowen area and they have a brilliant work environment and you will be working amongst a professional and friendly team.

The Role:

Working in a busy team, the role entails a number of duties and responsibilities. You will have great support of the management team and have a chance to work within their new offices and facilities.

Duties to include but not be limited to;

- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Code purchase invoices and enter onto system
- Credit control
- VAT reconciliation
- Oversee monthly/weekly payroll

What we need:

The ideal candidate should have previous experience in similar roles and must have:

- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- A personable and motivated individual who can work in a fast paced working environment
- Sage 200 accounts package (desirable)
- Self-starter and hands on

What is on offer:

A salary of between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum:

- 25 days + stats holiday
