This role will play a pivotal part in the provision of the full accounting process for treasury including month and year end treasury deliverables, hedge compliance, FX analysis, technical accounting advice and financial consolidations. You will act as a strong partner between Head Office and Group Finance as well as key stakeholders across the group.

Responsibilities will include:-
  • Efficient execution of month end treasury accounting procedures
  • Including preparation of treasury accounting journals each month including fair value movements and hedge accounting calculations
  • Valuation of derivatives, using Bloomberg & SAP system
  • Preparation of relevant accounting entries for SAP
  • FX hedge analysis and effectiveness control - revenue and balance sheet data
  • Maintenance of treasury hedge accounting documentation
  • Provide relevant treasury information to other business units/ head office departments
  • Review treasury costs, interest and FX budgets/ Control vs budget for interest, treasury costs and FX (as prepared by Treasury)
  • Support preparation of group consolidation
  • Support preparation of various company statutory accounts and Interim and Annual Group Financial statements
  • Provision of technical accounting support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for various GL accounts
  • Work in close collaboration with the Tax team on relevant month-end tax data
  • Ad hoc Finance and Treasury Projects as required

You will be a qualified accountant with a strong academic background and a working knowledge of treasury accounting (ACT qualified would be ideal). You will have experience of accounting for treasury transactions, be commercially and financially literate and hold a desire to learn and develop. Attitude and application is all important so those who have a number of the key skills and the desire to self-develop may also be considered.
