Are you an Electrical Engineer from a utilities/electricity networks background looking for an exciting opportunity to join a major player in the industry that will offer excellent training and long term career progression?

You will liaise with contractors and permanent staff to direct the installation and repair works of electricity networks across the UK. We are the only agency recruiting for this position

This role would suit an Engineer with working knowledge of utilities in the safe and efficient management of electrical network construction.

The Role:

1 Assist the Senior Engineer in overseeing the safe energisation of new electricity networks and extensions to existing electricity networks

2 Responsible (after training) for giving permission for all operations to occur on site following a review of critical checks

3 Assist with instructions to site contractors, staff, and representatives of other DNO's to ensure quality and efficient installation and repair works

4 Office based

The Person:

1 Academically any of the following would be useful-membership with a recognised engineering institution at Engineering Technician grade, NVQ Level 2 City & Guilds

2 Working knowledge of the utilities industry

3 UK driving licence
