Environmental and Systems Advisor

£40,000 - £50,000 + Car/allowance + Bonus + Package

A leading UK Industrial Manufacturer is currently seeking an Environmental and Systems Advisor to manage and coordinate the company health, safety and environment management systems. This role will be mixture of office and field based, providing specialist support to multiple sites across the UK.

Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain ISO 14001/18001 systems
- Coordinate and manage internal audit programmes
- Migration of current H&S management systems
- Produce environmental performance reports across the business
- Key point of contact for external certification body
- Support and provide guidance on environmental regulations
- Lead auditor for the business audits against systems

Essential

- Degree or equivalent in Environmental Management
- Strong experience and understanding of ISO management systems
- Health and safety knowledge and awareness
- In depth knowledge of environmental legislation
- Experience of working in industrial/construction/building materials sector ideal but not essential
- Driving License
