Our client, a leading global IT services provider, is seeking an IT Operations Centre Team Leader to join them on a permanent basis.

Acting as a Service Manager for the firm's VIP customers, as well as supporting the delivery of new products and projects, and ensuring the quality of service is maintained, and improved upon where appropriate, duties will include:

* Assisting in coordination of the Operations Centre team

* Controlling and managing ongoing incidents

* Identifying and responding to critical network events

* Developing and maintain relationships with VIP clients via proactive contact with them

* Producing high quality reporting, memos and documentation relating to customer incidents

* Managing fault calls from customers as appropriate

* Liaision with 3rd party suppliers

* Working with Line Managers to ensure escalations and complaints are resolved

* Checking and monitoring VIP customer network alerts

Willingness to travel freely within Europe, and to follow the day and night shift rota if requested, is essential.

IT Operations Centre Team Leader - what we're looking for:

* Knowledge and proficiency in the installation and maintenance of networks and servers

* Strong ITIL skills

* CCNA or CCNP certification. Candidates working towards Cisco qualification with solid work experience in this type of role will also be considered

* Excellent report writing skills (these will be tested at interview)

* An ability to investigate and source answers

* Proven leadership and management skills
