A well-known and established UK travel organisation are seeking a driven and hard-working finance and administration assistant, preferably from travel, to join their friendly finance team.

You will administer members' back office administration and Finance functions. This is an amazing opportunity to join a fantastic company at a very exciting time. You would report to the Finance Team Leader and work alongside three other really friendly and fun Finance Administrator professionals.

Job Duties:

- Make supplier (tour operator/cruise line) payments
- Process travel agent client money bank reconciliations (Sage 50 & Excel)
- Conduct general back office administration duties
- Have daily liaison with Travel Agents and Suppliers

Person Requirements:
- An excellent team player
- Previous travel industry finance experience would be a distinct advantage
- Good understanding of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable
- Patient and friendly with clients / suppliers
- Able to communicate very clearly both verbal and written
- Organised so that records kept are 100% accurate
- Excited when having to pay attention to detail
- Able to work on own initiative
- Able to organise workload to ensure satisfactory delivery to all clients

The Package:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £20-25k depending on experience, along with excellent additional company benefits.
