Customer Support Technician
Do you have experience of tendering within an Engineering environment coupled with a proven track record in Customer Service? If so, we have a unique opportunity to join a global manufacturing and industrial equipment supplier on a temporary basis for an initial period of roughly 3 months. Duties will include: - Preparing, coordinating and issuing detailed quotations/technical tenders for equipment, parts and service - Liaise with the sales department as well as other operational teams - Follow instructions on methods, techniques and/or approaches - Attend bid clarification meetings - Facilitate order handover to site facility for manufacturing - Actively pursue sales targets for pumps, spares and services - Progress order bookings and ensure order is managed in a timely fashion - Process enquiries and assist in resolving customer concerns The successful candidate will have a proven track record in providing excellent technical customer service support and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be commercially focused and candidates with exposure to international business will be looked upon favourably. Immediate start available for the right candidate. Potential for the contract to be extended beyond the initial 3 months.
