JOB SUMMARY

The Classic prop hire co is a busy prop hire company supplying furniture and props to the film and television industry. We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Southall, Middlesex.

You would be primarily responsible for managing and processing all sales invoices, leading the shop stock process for our internal consumables shop, managing petty cash and actively supporting the Head of Finance across a wide variety of accounting responsibilities.

Along with acting as holiday cover for our Loss & Damage Co-ordinator.

Key duties & responsibilities

·Responsibility for daily uploading of invoices into Sage and sending invoices to our customers.

·Chasing PO's missing from invoices.

·Uploading the PO onto our internal computer system (hire package) and resending to our customers.

·Daily revenue rec between Hire package and Sage.

·Posting supplier invoices.

·Supporting Head of Finance with credit control.

·Posting customer receipts on Sage.

·Assisting with month end process.

·Support, setting up and paying suppliers.

·Filing.

·Other varied adhoc roles as required by the Head of Finance.

Essential Requirements:

·Knowledge of Sage Accounting

·Good working knowledge of Excel

·Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail

·Good communication skills

·Prioritise varied tasks and timescales

·Proactive and able to work across teams

Desirable Requirements:

·Part qualified ACCA/CIMA
