Purpose of Role/Job Summary:

The main purpose of this role is to support the senior management team in the Aberdeen office with the following duties:

- Production and checking of engineering documentation and presentations
- General technical administration including an element of logistics support, quality assurance and planning

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Quality Assurance (QA) checking of engineering reports and drawings
- Preparation of reports and analysing data on Excel and use of graphs and pivot tables to display results. This may relate to budget issues, materials or supplier information
- Collation of reports and presentations
- Maintenance and upkeep of project folders, including drawing registers in an orderly fashion
- Updating and maintenance of internal resource plan (at Lead Engineer instructions)
- Assistance with logistics requirements for fabrication and material ordering
- Recording minutes for meetings and design reviews.
- Any other duties as may reasonably be required from time-to-time by management

Knowledge and Experience/Qualifications:

- A levels or Highers standard of education a minimum requirement
- High level of literacy in English, spoken and written
- A basic knowledge of the offshore industry would be desirable
- Experience or basic knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures would be ideal but not essential as training may be given.
- Must have an eye for detail and be able to interpret and comprehend the content and presentation of formal documentation.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.

Other Skills:

- IT literate with the ability to prepare and present information to the highest standard, including use of spread sheets and databases so must have an in depth of Microsoft Office Suite including Access, Excel to an Advanced level, Word and PowerPoint.
- Ideally may have a basic knowledge of AutoCAD 2D but training may be given.
- Ideally may have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Project but training may be given.
