About the Role & What you can expect

As a Technical Solutions Manager, your purpose is to work directly in supporting a team of Inside Sales representatives representing Blackberry Software, working with prospects, customers and partners managing all the technical aspects of pre-sales activities through a successful deployment.

As a successful candidate, you will be the main technical and product adviser of your team. You must be proficient with supporting multiple account managers and customers in providing quick responses and timely follow up to their needs and inquiries. It is important to be comfortable installing and configuring server based software that utilizes relational databases, application web services, advanced networking and routing technologies.

You must be a quick learner and have the natural ability to think on your feet in high pressure sales situations providing technical product details acting as an industry subject matter expert. Your main focus areas will be:

o Hosting presentations and demonstrations of the BlackBerry software product portfolio; which consists of Cyber Security software, Unified Endpoint Management solutions and Intelligent Security Services.

o Installing and supporting prospective customers throughout Proof of Concepts, documenting the POC including mapping out the customer's Success Criteria and keeping regular checkpoint calls with the customer to make sure these are met and help move the sales cycle forward.

o Helping to scope existing customer needs to spot opportunity for upselling, including helping to scope the potential for Professional Services work.

Requirements
  • Native level in English
  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited school.
  • In-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in at least one of the following areas of specialization: VPN's, Security, Remote/Local Access, WAN, or Wireless (relevant to assignment).
  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a B2B, multi-server environment.
  • Minimum 1 year of tech support. (ideally Level ||)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, DNS, Microsoft Exchange, and IIS required.
  • Minimum years' experience in computer software or systems including security products (firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion detection, content security, and anti-SPAM technologies), www, email, ftp, networking, Internet application platform technology, database and analytical related technologies.
  • Experience working with integration solutions and software API's.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with relational databases (i.e. SQL).
  • Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, accounts management with the ability to interface with a diverse set of clients, over the phone and in person.
