REED Education are working in partnership with a Secondary School in Bedfordshire in their search for a Science Teacher to start in September 2019.

Planning and marking will be required and the School require a confident teacher who can hit the ground running. Applications from NQT's and more experienced teachers are welcome. Our School will welcome applications from all science specialties.

The students at our School expect to be challenged and you will be responsible for undertaking the task of developing their knowledge in this vital subject. This is a School on an achievable journey to outstanding status and this is represents a great opportunity to gain valuable experience

Our school is commutable from Luton, Dunstable, Hitchin, Hemel Hempstead and Leighton Buzzard.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have the ability to teach at least once Science subject from Year 7 upwards

• Be passionate about their subject areas and a good role model to students

• Be comfortable teaching in Key Stage 5 if required

• Be innovative and have a strong classroom presence

• Have excellent communication skills and be able to work within a team of specialist teachers

The School will support the appointed teacher through an excellent Head Teacher and a strong leadership team, therefore the right candidate will be given all of the tools to succeed in an exciting teaching environment.
