Bright Horizons Day Nurseries, awarded "Great Place to Work" for 14 years are currently recruiting for a Nursery Director to join our Active Learning Nursery in Crouch End.

This will be a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave but there would be opportunity at the end of the contract to transfer to another Bright Horizons nursery.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in our 88 place nursery that is local to nearby train and bus routes. As the nursery is based on the grounds of the Hornsey Cricket Club, we have car parking available also.

Your role as Nursery Director will include:
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Designated Safeguarding Lead for the nursery
- Management of budgets - ROS, labour costs, etc.
- Develop FTE growth YoY to achieve maximum FTE capacity
- Make commercial decisions that will positively impact EBITDA
- Have up to date knowledge of the regulatory standards and ensure compliance with these at all times
- Proactively build on and maintain excellent relationships with local authority and businesses
- Set the highest standard of behaviour across the setting and within the peer group - being consistent with the HEART principles and always leading by example
- Staff retention and attrition
