Our Clients have created new opportunities for Commercial and Reinsurance professionals as part of their continued growth in Ipswich.

Also we have excellent roles for Reinsurance and Commercially experienced people with our clients across East Anglia, in Ipswich, Norwich, Chelmsford and Colchester.

Accordingly, to handle the requirements of these Clients you will need to have Commercial technical Insurance knowledge of property, liability and motor OR Reinsurance - treaties, excess of loss and facultative classes.

As a Senior Commercial Account Handler your key responsibilities will be:

* Providing day to day Insurance technical and advisory service to your Clients

* Supporting your Account Executives through the renewal process

* Preparing Broking documentation including insurance market presentations, slips and endorsements

* Negotiating renewal terms on specific classes of business

* Handling queries from clients, brokers, account executives and others

We are seeking people with relevant experience to enable you to:

* Be confident in advising clients

* Negotiate premiums and coverages with markets

* Draft relevant documentation, including slips and market presentations

* Who is enthusiastic, flexible and able to work with minimum supervision

As a Senior Reinsurance Technician your responsibilities will include:

* Understand the Client's business, continually working closely to fully support any specific requirements

* Participate in renewal planning, anticipating and preventing possible issues

* Manage and co-ordinate workflow around renewals for your clients

* Delivery of reliable, high-quality and timely technical and administrative support

* Attend relevant meetings, ensure notes and follow up actions are completed

* Develop and maintain close working relationships internally

* Produce contractual documentation to a high level and within timescales

* Produce data, statistics and information packs in support of the placement of a client's programme

* Support the creation of slips, endorsements, MTA's

* Ensure contract records are accurately maintained within the system

* Manage and resolve queries from clients and Insurers

To be successful supporting your Clients, you will demonstrate:

* Reinsurance industry experience, of any disciplines, although Treaty and Excess of Loss are particularly helpful

* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

* Attention to detail

* Ability to organise and prioritise workloads with good time management skills

* Supporting your clients through high quality service

* Delivering documentation and client support compliantly
