Account Manager
Location: Annesley, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum
Our client, an outsourcing specialist, provide tailored solutions for warehousing, fulfilment and contact centre needs.
Introduction:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the performance of the contract meets the Service Level Agreement with emphasis on quality and cost. Building a mutually beneficial relationship with the client and work colleagues at all levels of the business. This role requires a professional who is able to work at pace, who is dynamic and flexible and has proven experience of account/client management, strong communications skills, fosters team work and the enthusiasm to drive through changes to ensure the continuous improvement of the service for the company and the client.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Coordinate, build and manage the relationship between the company and the client to ensure the delivery of contractual KPI's and service value
* Partner with Senior Team members to identify key initiatives that can be of benefit to your client or show enhancement to value in service
* Report progress against key objectives, provide insight to broader trends and opportunities for development raised by client
* Monitor operational performance via daily dashboard reporting to ensure O.T.I.F delivery and seek out business improvements where necessary
* Manage the invoicing process - ensuring it is timely, accurate, adhered to payment terms etc
* Undertake performance reviews with both internal/external stakeholders, interpret data/reports to provide meaningful insight to client
* Effective communication with all areas of the business and clients
* Have a deep understanding of operational knowledge and capability to ensure the client is supported
* Project Manage step changes, demonstrating positive outcomes/improvements • Maintain functional excellence
Skills/experience required:
Strategic thinking/planning & Commercial Awareness
* Able to anticipate the customer business and our business and taking proactive action
* Seek out new business opportunities, through a progressive engagement plan
* Lead both internal and external stakeholders through a strategic Account Development plan, demonstrating and qualifying value add & cost reductions
* Knowledge of revenue and profit
Relationship management
* Minimum 2 years' experience of managing client contracts above ½ Million in value
* Forward thinker, developing and putting in place a network of relationships which withstand business as usual, problem identification and resolution, business review, development and planning
* Ensuring client satisfaction, Quality and retention.
Using and reporting data
* Understand what is relevant/ insightful to client, able to use the companies reporting system
Communication skills
* Takes responsibility for proactive and clear internal and external communication - written and oral
* Able to confidently chair stakeholder mtgs and present forward- thinking account development plans, undertake performance reviews and identify key wins for both client and our company.
Credibility with clients
* Present yourself as the face of the company, being mindful of the values and behaviours within and those of the client: professional, knowledgable, resourceful and discrete.
Team player
* Able to lead from the front and steer positive outcomes
* Able to influence, share best practice, work as 'one team' with gaining engagement from operational colleagues, clients or Snr. stakeholders
Software
* Highly proficient in Word/ Excel and PowerPoint
Others
* Must hold a full driving licence and be willing to attend meetings at our clients premises
