6 month temporary position. Salary = £18,000p/a

Position Summary:

As part of this role, you will:
  • Deal with the network partners and overseas operations managing the overseas claims processing and specialised motor reporting. Operational support of audit, processes and data entry for the branch offices.
  • Provide claims reporting data, manage gap and trend analysis, identifying concerns, and managing them to a mutually agreeable resolution
  • Operate in a continuous improvement culture relating to the policy and claims data input in terms of timeliness and quality
  • Provide support to the HUBs, International Network team and other key teams within the corporate centre branches
  • To collate, analyse and input in a limited range of situations of statistical information from network partners

  • Undertake work on and help network partners process complex data, resolve issues, and devise and implement following referral solutions.
  • Provide administrative and Operational advice to the Corporate centre HUBS; Network partners; International Network team and other key users of the data.
  • Maintain working relationships, data transfer and communication links with Network partners under personal control and other internal departments to establish and agree requirements and receive feedback on service delivered.
  • Identification of operational performance issues, referring as necessary to more senior job holder
  • Report to Manager on Network performance issues, and undertake tasks, as required, affecting overall department issues.

Skills and Experience:
  • Understanding of principles of International Programme underwriting.
  • Good ability in manipulation and interpretation of data.
  • Understanding and knowledge of international claims
  • Good processing, audit and reconciliation skills. Understanding of technical issues and programme design of International Programmes
  • Understanding of reinsurance structure in terms of the administration and control of defined arrangements
  • Good level of MS EXCEL skills
  • Knowledge of the Company's computer and clerical processing systems.
  • Knowledge of methods of processing and financial handling of insurance and reinsurance data.
  • Good understanding of the company's management information systems.
  • Ability to use appropriate tools to compile, manipulate and report back data.
