The key purpose of this role will be to maintain and develop relationships with Mechanical and Electrical Consultants, architects, Local Authorities and national contractors with a goad to secure high value sole specifications for MK/ Honeywell products. What will you be doing every single day?To generate project specifications with a focus on conversion to order stage via the electrical contractor / wholesale channel.To liaise with the local MK territory manager to ensure projects are progressed and secured via the wholesale channel with an emphasis on maximising profitability.To conduct new product presentations and inform customers of the latest industry regulation changes and new product developments.To progress leads supplied from various sourcesSite visits to identify new opportunities and to discuss projects with consultants / contractors.Developing strong internal relationships with marketing, technical and customer service departments.To achieve the sales targets for the area with the contribution to the regional and UK sales targets.Key ResponsibilitiesChannel Sales ActivitiesManage ProjectsProvide Customer SupportWhat skills and requirements do you need?A strong electrical and /or mechanical technical backgroundExperience within a sales orientated environment.A proven track record of succeeding against set targets.Highly motivated with a strong customer focus and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.The successful person will be working as part of a well-established team and with the autonomy that this role provides, will be expected to use their own initiative.As an Equal Opportunities Employer, Honeywell is committed to a diverse workforceAdditional InformationJOB ID: req187437Category: SalesLocation: The Arnold Centre Paycocke Road, Basildon, ESSEX SS14 3EA GBRExempt
