We have an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at our Head Office in Alfreton. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and reviewing marketing activities for the Building Plastics businesses, raise the Eurocell brand profile, generate sales leads and achieve an agreed Return On Investment (ROI).

This is an integral part of the business and you will play a pivotal role within our fast-moving and ever growing company. A strong individual, you will be highly motivated, a strong use of Microsoft Office and the ability to work under pressure is essential, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Research the marketplace to complete marketing audits, including macro environmental factors, market sector/segment opportunities, distribution channels (routes to market) and competitor positioning and activity.
  • Write and implement annual marketing plans and activity
  • Work with the Marketing Data Analyst to utilise and develop analytics tools and processes to measure, monitor and improve marketing effectiveness on an ongoing basis
  • Recommend improvements to marketing activity based on market insights and/or performance monitoring insights
  • Achieve agreed lead generation and ROI objectives
  • Brief and manage communications campaigns with in-house creative and/or external agencies
  • Utilise the full marketing communications mix to produce effective integrated campaigns; web, digital, advertising, PR, direct marketing (mail and phone), events, exhibitions and literature
  • Ensure that communications are delivered on brief, on time and on budget, while informing key stakeholders of activities.
  • Arrange and oversee the ongoing customer satisfaction interview monitoring process.
  • Monitor results and the Net Promoter Score and identify customer experience improvement opportunities based on feedback
  • Encourage engagement of key target audiences through various channels to aid/increase specification
  • Develop customer marketing activities to further improve customer retention and loyalty
  • Support trade marketing plans by producing communication materials
  • Responsibility for managing the marketing budgets, in line with the marketing plan
  • Monitor expenditure to ensure that company receives value for money and marketing spend administration is completed effectively.

Key Skills / Experience:
  • A proven track record of managing and delivering marketing campaign materials of multiple projects
  • Excellent project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing techniques
  • Experience of using marketing technology systems, including CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Extensive practical marketing planning experience
  • Experience gained in marketing in the Construction / Builders Merchant sector
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, verbal as well as written.
  • Highly organised, able to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
  • High degree of personal initiative with an enthusiastic and positive approach.
  • Strong administration skills
  • Good research and analytical skills
  • Solid proof-reading skills with a meticulous eye for detail and high standards of accuracy.
    A passion for creating engaging and relevant communications
  • The ability to organise and prioritise a workload, meeting regular short and longer-term deadlines
  • Work well under pressure within the team and wider stakeholder groups
  • Able to work as a motivational team player.
  • Adaptable and willing to make changes to ensure success.
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing principles, strategies and tactics
  • Excellent communication skills
