Our client is seeking a candidate with excellent communication, a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills to join their business as a Training and Compliance Coordinator.

Predominately based in the clients Rainham office there will be a need to travel and to work from their branch in Barking and at times, due to the nature of the role, audits will be carried out at other local sites in Essex. A car driver is essential for this reason.

Hours of work can be Monday - Friday, 8.00am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm. Salary per annum will be £22,000 - £24,000.

Working directly for the Business Support Manager this is a key role in ensuring training & compliance is delivered, adhered to and recorded.

Daily duties;
  • Log, track and respond to all complaints, compliments and issues on site ensuring they are fully investigated and remedial actions are taken if required
  • Report any Health & Safety, Environmental issues to the Management Team, and where appropriate, to internal support services staff
  • Manage the booking of all training including liaising with suppliers, managers and staff to ensure training is booked in a timely manner
  • Ensure all training records are maintained accurately on the matrix and monthly reports of expiries are flagged up to managers
  • Log and issue all training certificates
  • Ensure all site discharge, trade effluent and related data is input onto company spreadsheets and filed in correct locations for auditing purposes
  • Conduct regular duty of care audits, Health and Safety observations and report findings
  • Provide admin support to the Senior Leadership Team as required

Previous administration experience is required and it is essential that the candidate has impeccable communication skills, verbal and written. Work experience to include compliance, audit or training is desirable as is experience using a purchase order system. Good computer skills are needed and experience with PowerPoint is advantageous.

Candidates with an interest or degree associated in the Environmental sector is beneficial.
