Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established supply and distribution business in Doncaster that has a turnover of approx.£18 Million. They are part of a much larger group that operates globally and is proud to remain family owned from their headquarters in Europe. The role will report directly into the Group Finance Director and Managing Director and will be responsible for managing 3 staff on site.

As well as overseeing the transactional finance operations for the business, you will also be responsible for the timely production of Management Accounts and any related analysis to the senior management team.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

- Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts (Including profit & loss, balance sheet and associated reconciliations)
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Conducting variance analysis
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Fixed asset maintenance, accruals, prepayments, journals
- Processing VAT and HMRC returns
- Financial statutory reporting
- Foreign exchange policy and hedging
- Reconciling stock provisions
- Managing bank reconciliation's
- Processing company payroll for 30 staff
- Overseeing the sales, purchase ledgers as well as credit control
- Being the main point of contact for external auditors
- Managing, motivating and developing 3 members of administration staff in the team
- Assisting with recruitment and HR administration for the business (Including contracts, pensions, benefits, sickness and holiday reporting/ tracking)
- Continual review of processes and systems
- Any other ad-hoc reporting as required by the directors

To be considered for this role you MUST have the following:

- Qualified CIMA/ ACCA or ACA - QBE will also be considered
- At least 3-5 years experience in a similar role where you have been responsible for all aspects of finance up to full production of Management Accounts
- Good leadership skills
- Strong IT skills including Excel
- Good attention to detail and highly accurate
- Ability to prioritise work and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
