Our client, a well-established and highly-successful firm in the IT industry, are seeking an Assistant Help Desk Manager to join their fast-growing team on a permanent basis.

Supporting the Help Desk Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge across a broad range of areas, working with multiple designated clients. Although you will not be expected to directly manage any other Engineers, you will be required to support them and act as a 3rd Line escalation point for technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Working closely with the Help Desk Manager and other Engineers, you will be required to provide a high level of 2nd and 3rd Line support to all escalated issues

- Provide a high level of customer support to clients, providing innovative technical solutions within a timely manner

- Making suggestions to clients for future improvements

- Providing support and guidance to other Engineers

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks where necesary

Key Experience:

- You will be required to demonstrate a high level of technical understanding, including a solid level of knowledge in Windows Server, Microsoft Desktop Operating Systems, Exchange, Office 365 and Networking

- VMware

- Cisco

- SharePoint

- Excellent communicator, with the ability to liaise with clients and other staff members of all levels

- Previous experience in a Help Desk Management role would be highly advantageous, although not essential

Due to the location of the office, candidates will be required to have a Full UK Driving License and access to their own vehicle.
