Delivering business success through our people

Are you an experienced Engineer with previous experienced working in a fast, paced environment and seeking progression to Team Leader? Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will Lead a team with undertaking a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance and ensure an efficient response to breakdowns is provided, to maintain optimum efficiency within the factory.

You will use your excellent influencing and feedback skills to keep your team motivated, ensuring they know what is expected, are kept up to date and made aware of their successes. You will be responsible for maintaining their training records, sharing skills and knowledge amongst the team and offering training as identified. Alongside the Engineering Manager you will design and implement the maintenance plan and ensure all works are carried out to the highest engineering standards. Equally ensuring sustainable reliability of plant and equipment through pro-active maintenance and speed of response by using recognised continuous improvement technique. Your previous experience communicating with internal and external key stakeholders will be an advantage and support you with reaching decisions and prioritising business requirements.

You will be highly self-motivated and have a flexible and proactive approach. Ideally you will have direct experience of working with chilled food processing and packaging equipment, however familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.

You will have strong computer skills including Holistic with previous experience of automated machinery, PLC. An electrical qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum and be 17th edition certified. Equally you will have strong mechanical skills with a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC's.
