Our client who is a well-known family visitor attraction/resort is recruiting for an Operational Finance Accountant to provide accounting and operational finance support to a successful and growing business.

This role is working within their busy accounts department which has multiple departments and area of business. Due to business growth they are expanding their team with this senior post.

Duties of an Operational Finance Accountant
  • Produce management information and develop reports as required for business performance monitoring
  • Accounting process and systems development
  • Procurement to pay process organization and system control
  • Inventory management and stock control system
  • Development of department budgets and monitoring processes
  • Periodic update of financial models and running of sensitivities
  • Finance and accounting process documentation and review
  • Balance sheet reviews and reporting
  • Perform any other duties as required to ensure the successful and efficient running of the finance department

Experience and qualifications required
  • Previous experience working at senior level
  • Previous experience within the leisure industry desired
  • Multi-department experience in a similar role
  • Process orientated
  • Fully qualified to CIMA / ACCA / ACA, previous payroll management experience beneficial.
  • Previous experience of working within a family owned business beneficial
  • IT competent with strong knowledge of excel and ideally Microsoft Navision
