DescriptionThe Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for actively driving and managing the pre-sales process with all channel partners. The TAM must be able to articulate the company's technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned partners to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the partner sales process. Must be able to establish and maintain strong relationships with all MSSP's, VAS and VAR partners.ResponsibilitiesWork with partners to Identify and develop potential new business opportunities and deliveryConvey partner requirements to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering teamsSupport partners in responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPsRespond to partners questions on technical and business related issuesDeliver high-level and detailed sales presentationsTrain all partner support and sales staff to an agreed level so that they become self sufficientResponsible for supporting partner events and present the Qualys valueReporting through Company's CRM Qualifications Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with strong knowledge of security compliance / monitoring systems and business process management technologies. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in response to emails, RFPs and when submitting reports. Organised and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Experience in channel/partner market is preferable.Bachelors degree or equivalent experience10 years+ relevant channel experienceExcellent written and oral communication skills; must have a perfect command of EnglishAble to travel throughout sales territoryEEO Employer/Vet/Disabled
