A great SEN school near Godalming, set on beautiful grounds, is looking for a dedicated, engaging and inspiring teaching assistant. The children at this school have a range of learning difficulties such as Autism and ADHD, and speech and language needs. The school aim to provide an interactive and accessible curriculum using outdoor activities and educational trips as well as engaging lessons in the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils

-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development

-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment

-Supervising and monitoring behaviour

-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:

-An ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers

-A passion for working with SEN children

-Own means of transport (this is essential)

-An ability to support the general well-being of students

-Good numeracy and literacy skills
