A Day in the LifeMain Purpose of Job:· Drive team to achieve the highest possible standards of contract management, delivering outstanding service to our customers.· Develop the contracting team into the one-stop shop for all queries around our customer contracts - validity, channel, expiry, commitment levels, prices, and T&Cs.· Work with Marketing teams and other partners to ensure that portfolio changes (new product launches, discontinued lines) are updated in a timely fashion and communicated to our customers.· Drive accountability within the team for best-in-class performance, measuring performance against KPIs.· Track market trends related to contracting. Be the expert on topics such as management fees, delivery requirements, price management and all emerging requirements and programs. · Partner with the leaders of the EDI, tendering and strategy teams, to ensure insight and opportunities are shared across the contracting pathway. · Maintain relationships with key individuals at all levels, both internally (Sales, Marketing, BU leaders) and externally (Procurement in Trusts and Hubs).Main Duties / Responsibilities:· Monitor the work of your team, ensuring SLAs are met and issues flagged proactively· Drive improvements in KPIs (price discrepancies, expired pricing)· Build knowledge base of team, driving up contract management performance across the organisation· Proactively look for opportunities to continuously improve process efficiency and quality; raise the bar for contract management and ensure our customers' orders can be processed seamless· Support commercial decision-making through analysis· Business partner with all operational teams within the organization· Proactively work with customers to resolve issues that you identify through your daily work· Gain insight from and share it with our business partners, to raise the bar for strategic contract management· Ad hoc tasks and projects as neededMust Haves· Ability to lead and motivate a team· Experience in building and improving processes· Ability to build strong and credible relationships with stakeholders at all levels· Experience in tendering and/or contract management in a commercial environment · Conscientious, with strong focus on quality of work and good eye for detail· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Team player· Results oriented, with a drive to continuously raise the bar for quality· Self-motivated, ambitious and positive· Effective leader· Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines· Able to see the big picture, and how the work of your team can benefit the broader organisationWhat Medtronic can offer:· Attractive salary and benefits package· 30 days holiday· Lunch allowance · Ongoing training and development opportunities· Bright, modern offices located in Croxley ParkPhysical Requirements · Some travel and overtime may be required depending on business needsYour AnswerIs this the position you were waiting for?
